That Youthful Energy

If I could just bottle up all the energy put out by toddlers, we probably wouldn’t have an energy crisis.

If I could just capture an ounce of KLV's energy each day I’d never yawn.

If I could steal just a pinch of her pizzazz, I would get sooo much done.

If she would slow down long enough for me to catch her, that is….

Who or what are you trying to keep up with?

  1. Life, haha. That's what I'm trying to keep up with. And some days, I need to slow down, but it's so hard. KLV is just so cute.

  4. My husband has some amazing energy. He's 8 years older than me, but it's like he's still a teenager, running, biking, hiking. He's nuts!

  5. I agree with all of the above! And I would add--If we could just possess the same openness of heart these kids have, then what a peaceful and forgiving world we'd have! Thanks for inspiring me today, TV! I just thought of something to write about :-) Enjoy your 4th of July weekend!!!

  10. I hear ya!! My son is almost 2 and he keeps me running for sure. He's great at seizing the moment to get into everything in the short time it takes me to change sissy's diaper. I wouldn't change it for anything!! In all the craziness, my babies keep me sane.

  11. Amazing how they just go and go and go! I don't know how they do it...although I think if I ate less sugar and drank less coffee, ate better, and got more sleep like a toddler I just might be able to keep up a little better!
