Umm, Can I Get A Hand Here Too?

Last year while visiting our local zoo, I proudly watched as my husband leaped to aid an elderly woman who had fallen and sprained her ankle. This past January, during a 90th b-day party he helped a man to his feet after he fell from his walker.  Then on our recent vacation to La Jolla he helped another senior citizen to his feet after he fell hard from his bicycle.
Not Actually My Husband

Apparently my husband is some sort of super hero to senior citizens.

Meanwhile he watches me trip and fall all over the place (all too often) and gives me this look like, really…again?

Note: 9 times out of 10 I’m fine and I end up crying with laughter.

Perhaps when I’m a senior citizen he’ll start offering me a hand.  Maybe?

  1. Lol!! Thanks for the laugh! I like that you actually captioned the picture with, "not actually my husband!" That's something I would have done!!! Your husband sounds like an amazing man. Maybe you fall with such elegance and grace he knows, without a doubt, that you are fine. : ) Still, a hand is always appreciated...: )

  3. I think you need to go buy a gray wig, do your makeup like a much older lady, buy some huge bifocal glasses (stereotypical things obviously) and then fall dramatically to help him put the pieces together!! hehehehe. This was a crack up!! hehe;0.

  6. That's funny ;-)) But doesn't it warm your heart when you see him treat others so well?....(then you start remembering the toilet seat, dirty clothes that never make it to the bin, etc....) LOL!

  7. You are so cute my friend! I am a bit of a clutz myself! It is funny how we all tend to help others, but family can be overlooked at times. I think there is a great lesson here. I hope you are doing great! Have a wonderful day!

  9. So funny! Yeah, he's not expecting he needs to give you a hand just yet. The problem is, as you get older, he gets older. You need his strong help now!

  12. Love your humor! That you can laugh about falling is admirable. My toes often run into furniture and my hubby's the one laughing. It hurts you know, I tell him. Perhaps your hubby thinks you're a capable woman and doesn't need his help?
