Listening To Fools?

I read The Help and a line in the book stuck with me,…“Every morning….you gone have to make this decision…Am I gone believe what them fools say about me today?”

Just think if we stopped listening to the fools of the world (or in our own head) and focused on the good stuff, what would happen?

Are you listening to what the fools are saying about you?

  3. I think what is in our own heads can be much worse than what others think/say.

  6. That is probably one of the hardest things to do. I might hang that up somewhere in my bathroom or closet as a reminder.

  8. No more. I want all negative comments (including my own) to go far, far away. Life's too short to listen to the critics!

  9. What about that line in Pretty Woman when Julia Roberts says "Somehow it is easier to believe the negative stuff people say." It stays with us, but if we listen to this and ignore the "fools" then perhaps we won't end up so hurt. I hope you are doing well my friend!

  10. Ah, it's so hard not to believe what you hear...especially the negative stuff. Focusing on the good stuff is paramount...I wish I spent more time doing that!

I hope you are having a great week, girlfriend!
