A Smile

Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.” - Mother Teresa

KLV's pretty smile
While walking to the coffee shop recently, I noticed a woman who looked unfriendly.  Then she smiled.  In an instant she went from looking snooty to friendly and kind.  I smiled back and completely changed my entire perception of this stranger.

There are many reasons to smile but one of the best reasons is that smiling is simply contagious.

Are you good about giving the gift of smile?

  3. I try my hardest to! I am a generally smiley person, but there's something really wonderful when you smile at a stranger and they smile back. Happy Monday!

  4. sometimes I think I smile TOO often..if possible! I might be TOO friendly and random strangers smile back and start conversation with me! But I enjoy sharing a smile when I can :) If we can't smile and laugh at life, then what are we living for?!

  5. Love this post and the simple reminder to smile :) Seeing people in stores smile is great since most are stressed out running around. KLV has such a pretty smile!

  6. Your so right in that just giving someone the gift of a smile can make their entire day, or even their week!

  7. I love smiling. Both in high school and college, I was nicknamed "Smiley." Too me, life's too short to walk around frowning. I have way too many blessings! (I find that smiling not only puts others in a good mood, but it often changes my mood too!) By the way, KLV has the prettiest smile of them all :)

  8. I die of happiness looking at that sweet little smile! I have to REMIND myself to smile, I am often lost in my own world of thought until a stranger will say "hey - why so glum?" I'm not glum, just lost in my own head. I'm finding the more I smile the happier I feel! I hope you are well, my friend!
