We Moved

Three weeks ago we moved into a new home; just a few miles from our old house.

Since then KLV is finding new freedom in riding her trike to the community park and green space.

My mom has been helping me move items here and there to see where they look best.

My husband is happy to have our mountain views.

I am happy for the change.

Moves are good; at least if you look at them that way.  They usually involve some sort of trade-off and that’s okay too.

More importantly sometimes it takes a change of scenery to shift a mindset and for that I am incredibly happy we made this move.

Hope your scenery is making you happy!

  1. Looks like a beautiful shift in scenery! WE had mountains in Wyoming, now prairie in Kansas. God made it all, but I sure like mountains! (The pic at the top of Family Fountain is near where we used to live)

  2. Gorgeous mountains. We moved here four years ago, and our property abuts a horse paddock. I feel grateful to have such a pristine view to wake to each morning.

  7. Those are beautiful mountains! We want to move. It is such a process, though. We have a long way before we're ready. Lots to fix at this house, lots to clean... Did you not go crazy??

  9. I agree! I think a little change of scenery can help with a change of perspective so I'm glad this move has been good for you too! I would love to see some mountains again someday perhaps. I used to stare at them every day in CA but, here in NC you stare at trees everywhere which is okay too but, it's neat to fly back to CA and see those mountains below the plane...so many wonders to enjoy on this Earth! Merry Christmas TV! Sorry for so much absence. Miss your lovely blog always:)

  14. Congratulations on your move. The scenery is gorgeous. You made a really inspired comment. Moves/change often do involve some type of trade-off. It can be scary at first or even feel uncomfortable. It sounds like you're getting adjusted to your new home just fine. How exciting that you'll be spending your first Christmas in a new place you call home. May this new house bring many, many cherished memories to come... XOXO.
