A Physical Reaction

During our recent move we used a reputable moving company, at least that’s what I thought.  Unfortunately post move we found so many of our things were damaged, we were overbilled and we had to gut our laundry room due to their improper washing machine hook up.

Needless to say we are disputing the charges.

This was over a month ago and when I think about the company today or their manager it makes me shake and my heart beat uncontrollably – I have such a strong negative physical reaction for this company it’s almost laughable.

Crazy how I let this company get the best of me.

How about you, does anything give you this strong of a negative reaction?

  1. It's been a long time since I let something let me get physically angry or emotional. I hope this problem works itself out for you soon!!!

  3. Oh that would get me ANGRY, so I don't blame you at all. We are moving in less than two weeks and are freaking out about the movers. They have come highly recommended too, but we are still afraid of the worst. Ugh, sorry you had SUCH a bad experience!

  4. That is awful when people, especially professionals, don't follow through on their word.

  5. I am sorry you had to go through that TV! I had a moving company tell me one price and then when they came said that things would be additional. I got aggrivated, but knew that I had to move anyway and ended up paying the extra money. I remember being upset for a bit. It stinks when we let people get the best of us. Even driving in this area makes me stressed every day. Someone was on their phone yesterday and went through a stop sign and almost hit my car from the side. There was definitely an angel looking out for us! It left me out of breath and upset. It can be hadr not to let people get to us. The world we live in is fast paced and stressful. I wish you all the best my friend!

  6. Yes, I too can have physical reactions. Time is what helps. Once I get over the anger/emotion I'm fine to keep fighting until I win. Don't give up on this one. Fight till you win :)

  7. Oh my, those are huge mistakes on their part! I hope they make amends in every way that they need to. That would have given me strong negative reaction too. Hope you're recovering and feeling better about it.

I still don't have a new post up yet (thanks for visiting me)- hashing out multiple things in my head and for some reason cannot seem to get it out *yet*. Happy New Year my friend!

  8. Um, yes. I can totally relate. I'm having that sensation nearly around the clock. My advice...this is small potatoes. Yes, frustrating, yes, an inconvenience but in the grand scheme of things it's not going to make a difference 10 years from now. Don't let them get the best of you, TV. Don't let them steal one more minute of your joy. These are things I'm telling myself all the time...only in my situation the potatoes are GIANT.

  9. I normally only feel this emotional as something is happening. Usually I can calm down after the fact. You will probably get the best results with them if your head is clear :)

  10. I don't know TV, but I think I'd have the same reaction as yours and will continue to do so...sad and embarrassing, yes, but that kind of service is just reprehensible. I can imagine myself writing numerous negative reviews about that company and having a really REALLY hard time getting over it (not being able to get even), hehehehe.....It's so bad, I know, but I can understand that physical reaction you talk about. Anyway, I do hope you feel better now. It's not always easy to let things go, but like you said, sometimes we just have to do it for our own sanity and health. :-)
